BBCM reviews of concert, opera and ballet

I thought that the concert at the Barbican Centre was great. It was my second time I went to a concert there. We had some good seats and the performance was much better than I had thought it would have been.

My favourite out of all the pieces that night was Andre Previn's latest composition called Diversions. It was suddenly fast and suddenly slow and kept on changing speed. It had all sorts of timbres in the piece. I also liked the Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a Theme of Tallis.

At the end of the concert we went to get our programs signed by Janice Watson and Andre Previn. Janice Watson was the solo soprano, she sang in Four Last Songs by Richard Strauss. She sang in German. I found her voice fascinating. Andre Previn said that he liked our BBCM sweatshirts and T-shirts very much.
